The Life of a Knitting Knerd

I was checking my e-mail last night and found that Lion Brand Yarn's latest newsletter had arrived.

I was looking through it quickly and saw a new yarn, Ruffles. I'm intrigued by it, will probably try it at least once. Instead of wrapping the yarn around the needle, you actually put the needle through the yarn. It sounds a bit complicated to me.



I'm a bit leery of ordering anything from Lion Brand's website though--I saw a recent story of where someone was charged multiple times--to the tune of hundreds of dollars--and their account was severely overdrawn. Lion Brand's Customer Service was less than helpful. Eventually, the situation was resolved but not before an executive personally contacted the customer.
